What We Do

We improve health care by bringing down costs and raising both quality and satisfaction.

Our Purpose

We exist to build an equitable and integrated health ecosystem that improves the health of Central Oregonians through collaborative work and community partnerships, utilizing data-driven decisions, to achieve quality improvements, lowered costs, and empowered providers. Our value to the region will exceed the cost of our efforts.

Regional Health Improvement Plan

Every five years we write a Regional Health Improvement Plan (RHIP). The RHIP is a guide that we and our partners use to promote and advance health. Current topics include mental health, physical health, education, stable housing and more.

The RHIP is written by many of our partners in Central Oregon. Working together helps us to define a vision for the health of our communities.  Click below to find current and past Central Oregon RHIP files and related documents.

Grant Opportunities

There are two types of grants at the Central Oregon Health Council: Standard Grants (large grants with specific parameters and application windows) and Mini Grants (small grants of $5,000 or less which can be applied for at anytime).

Standard Grants are intermittently available for the 2020-2024 cycle. These grants are formed and vetted by our volunteer community members and subject-matter experts. Check back regularly to see the latest grant opportunities.

Mini Grants of up to $5,000 are available to support work in Central Oregon that improves equity and builds capacity to address the Future State measures in the Regional Health Improvement Plan. Click below to learn what types of projects we fund and why we fund them.
