What We Do

The Provider Engagement Panel (PEP), formerly known as the Clinical Advisory Panel, is a committee housed within the Central Oregon Health Council (COHC). The PEP provides a highly valued clinical perspective to the work of the COHC. Providers on the PEP represent a variety of healthcare organizations that serve the Oregon Health Plan (OHP/Medicaid) population.

Responsibilities

The purpose of the Provider Engagement Panel (PEP) is to support the COHC and its work in the following ways:

  • Review and evaluate projects from a clinical perspective
  • Coordinate quality committees and set strategic goals
  • Establish community standards and utilization standards
  • Promote clinical integration
  • Serve as a forum for provider perspectives, collaboration, and information exchange.
