Deschutes County Stabilization Center

The Deschutes County Stabilization Center (DCSC) is a collaborative project between Deschutes County Health Services and the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office to develop a 24/7 crisis stabilization center with 23-hour respite in order to help individuals experiencing a mental health crisis get the support and resources they need. In addition, the DCSC will provide an alternative place for police to bring someone in crisis outside of the emergency department and jail. The COHC funds will allow the DCSC to get closer to its goal of 24/7 by expanding hours later in the evening and the ability to provide services 7 days a week.
