Executive Director: Be Our Health Care Champion for Central Oregon

Location: Bend, Oregon

About Us: The Central Oregon Health Council (COHC) is a dynamic and community-driven nonprofit organization committed to improving health care delivery and outcomes in our region. We collaborate with community partners, reduce costs, and execute a five-year Regional Health Improvement Plan. Our mission is to achieve the Triple Aim: improving health outcomes, increasing satisfaction with the health system, and reducing costs.

Role Overview: As the Executive Director, you will lead COHC’s strategic vision, foster partnerships, and drive impactful change in health care. You’ll work closely with our dedicated board, community stakeholders, and health care providers to enhance the well-being of Central Oregon residents.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a forward-thinking strategy aligned with COHC’s mission and goals.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with local organizations, government agencies, and health care providers to drive positive health outcomes.
  • Financial Stewardship: Oversee budgeting, grant management, and resource allocation.
  • Advocacy: Be a strong advocate for health equity, access, and quality care.
  • Team Management: Lead a passionate team of professionals dedicated to our mission.

Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years in health care leadership, nonprofit management, or related fields.
  • Visionary Leadership: Proven ability to inspire and guide teams toward impactful results.
  • Strategic Thinker: Able to navigate complex health care systems and drive innovation.
  • Community-Centric: Passionate about improving health outcomes for all residents.
  • Collaborative: Skilled at building and maintaining partnerships.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in health administration, public health, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
